  GETTING TO KNOW HUNTER CHURCH
First of all “THANK YOU” for taking the time to look at my proposal for the 2019-20 season, the second year of the Olympic quadrennial and another pivotal year setting us up for the big show of the 2022 Olympic year.

My name is Hunter Church.  I am  currently a pilot  on  The  U.S. National and World Cup Team, aspiring to reach Olympic level glory in the sport of bobsled. As a third-generation slider, bobsled is in my DNA and is more than just a sport to me. At the age of twelve, I was one of the youngest sliders in the Junior Bobsled program, and now I'm the youngest Pilot on the U.S. National Team.

I  learned a spot on my first  National Team in 2015 which allowed me to compete on the international circuit , in which I gained experience on tracks outside of Lake Placid and Park City in the U.S. , such as Whistler, BC, Calgary, AB and St. Moritz, Switzerland. Competing on these different tracks is crucial for driver development, as no course is identical. I am a Junior and Senior World Championship Competitor, finishing as the 2nd highest ranked US Team at the 2019 Worlds.

My driving ability has shown me success on all courses, including 5 Golds, 5 Silver, and 4 Bronze Medals. Some of my greatest accomplishments in the sport have been finishing 6th place in the Junior World Championships U23,  being the highest placing finisher during the World Cup for the 2018-19 post Olympic season, securing a National Championship Title in 2019, with my greatest accomplishment qualifying our third 4-man sled for the 2018 Winter Olympics held in Pyeong Chang, South Kore

Your support will help us vie for an opportunity to qualify for the 2020 World Championships in Altenberg, Germany where we will continue to represent our great nation. We have different levels to support the team and they do not need to be specific to the levels provided! Any level of donation is always welcome and we love and  appreciate you for helping us reach our goal.
